The 1901 Penn Quakers football team represented the University of Pennsylvania in the 1901 college football season. The Quakers finished with a 10–5 record in their tenth year under head coach and College Football Hall of Fame inductee, George Washington Woodruff. Significant games included victories over Penn State (23–6), Chicago (11–0), and Carlisle (16–14), and losses to Navy (5–6), Harvard (6–33), and Army (0–24). The 1901 Penn team outscored its opponents by a combined total of 203 to 121. Two Penn players received recognition on the 1901 College Football All-America Team: guard John Teas (Walter Camp, 3rd team);〔 〕 and halfback Marshall S.
